The food is fantastic and flavorful it's like the one of the best I had in Kingston.

Whenever my family passes through Kingston and is in need of lunch or dinner, we stop here for cheap eats. Prices are very reasonable (we're two adults and a toddler and dinner can be less than $35 with tips) and portions are gigantic. The quality is ok, and staff are friendly.

Food was your typical Chinese restaurant - pretty good, no surprises. Tea was extra.

My husband and I ordered takeout this evening and ended up waiting 45 minutes for our food!!! The reason I am not leaving a bad review is because the food was terrific and the ladies seemed to be working very hard, plus it seemed they were passing out food to people that may have called in before. My suggestion to the restaurant : please communicate with customers that it may take longer than usual. 45 min was an extremely long wait with no heads up.

I still really love that place and the food is really good. I would like to be able to order smaller portions though. Also during peak hours they get overwhelmed. They need to hire 1 extra cook during peak hours.But food is so good. Also they need smaller tables.------First time I go there. Steamed rice is the best I ate here in Kingston so far. And the General Tao chicken was really good. I would have liked to have whole red hot peppers in it but still, it was really good. They now have me as a regular customer.Please do not pay attention to the comment made by "Peter" I eat there really often and the food is always really good. I never found any food made with ketchup lol.Try that place I guarantee you will like it.

Absolutely adorable place! Just stopped in for fries with the kids, but staff was friendly and prices were decent.Pay close attention though - two of us ordered fries and one ordered onion rings; we were first told that we ordered two onion rings and one fry...when we disagreed they admitted they were low on fries. 😉

They have a variety of decent Chinese food. Pree good but if you ever eat here. The service is really slow because they focus on take out so just get take out instead

Great place it is a bit of a wait for your food but is well worth it. Not only is it tasty but you get large amount of food. Staff is very friendly.

This restaurant provides good authentic chinese food that us relatively cheap for the portion sizes that you get. The place is quite old but cozy for a family restaurant. The owners are also very nice and provides great customer service!

Amazing food and amazing people. The food is always fresh and so flavourful. My mom travels from out of town just for their hot and sour soup! The services is always great - so friendly and quick. Highly recommend this place! They are currently still offering take-out!

Really great food! Large portions and friendly service

Placed an order for take-out. Woman on the phone was helpful and recommended dishes. Food was ready within 30 minutes. Excellent price for the amount of food you get! Portions were big and the food was very hot and fresh! Will order again.

Went the other day to pick up my order around 8:15pm. I had ordered about 15 before arriving and the lady on the phone said it would be a 45 minute wait for my food. I decided to walk over to the restaurant because I was already on that side of town. Upon arriving I expected my order to be another 30 minutes which I was okay with. When I arrived they hadn't put my order in yet, I had to repeat my order to the waitress and explained that I had already made the order over the phone. The lady was very kind and seemed to be doing her best as she was the only waitress in the restaurant with 3 other tables on the go. I proceeded to wait an hour for my food which is why i am giving 3 stars. The food was okay I personally think the fried rice was bland but the veggies were good. The portion sizes are very large and the price is very good for what you get. They definitely need to hire more people to help them out.

Have only ever gotten the Cantonese chow mein but it is incredible. Very generous portion size and good amount of meet + veggies compared to noodles. Friendly staff, will be my new go-to place for chow mein

Great food and service. Owners serving you and very friendly and nuce. I dont live in town but eat here every visit. Place doesnt look first class but the food and service is.

Very small intimate restaurant. I was impressed with the onion rings he made them from scratch.

Having searched for an authentic (read: not chicken balls, not that there's anything wrong with them!) chinese meal in Kingston for some time, I was very glad to find Sunflower. The food is excellent (recommend the beef & chinese broccoli and sizzling pork/eggplant so far), the restaurant clean, the prices more than fair and the owner's are nice too. Can't get better than that!

Got a take out whilst visiting Kingston. Szechuan beef was very nice indeed. Also got a huge portion of Singapore flat rice noodles with chicken and plenty of shrimp. I would definitely recommend.

The guy who runs the place is very nice. The food is good, and flavored well for the typical Kingston demography, but he of course also provides additional spices. The food is generally very tasty, and I ordered from here a LOT when I used to be in Kingston regularly. I would recommend it.

This small gem was a complete surprise. A great menu selection, large portion sizes, wonderfully fresh and piping hot. We ordered a dinner for two and took home half. Would definitely return and recommend.

Excellent evening. Me and my friend had a fantastic meal in Kingston's new Chinese restaurant, the Sunflower. It is a lovely place with friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The food is well prepared and extremely tasty. Highly recommended!

Ordered here for family dinner tonight. Delivery took forever but DAMN the food was GREAT! The 90 minute wait was worth the fresh, flavorful everything. We had the chicken balls (the sauce tasted from scratch and was the best I've had), egg rolls, spring rolls, Cantonese chow mein (how do the noodles taste that good?) and shrimp and Chinese vegetables. Will 100% be ordering here again, I highly recommend.

I had vegetarian fried rice and it was amazing, quick service and polite staff. A nice cozy place for a quick bite.

It was a nice little restaurant friendly the food was good they had dishes made of flat rice noodles their gravy was made from tapioca starch not wheat flour so it ended up they were gluten free choices the prices were really good we will definitely be back

Over all good service, had to wait an extra 10 min for my take out order, based on what I was told when I ordered, but it was worth it. All freshly cooked and very tasty. Chicken soo guy was a little salty but that is our only complaint. It certainly didn't stop us from eating it! We have been trying to find a "favourite" since China Doll closed, and this is our new go to spot. Very please, and so were the kids!

Nice cozy eatery...fine food!

Hi. Just ordered a couple of large bowls of wonton soup. It was really large and very tasty. Lots of wontons. Also had an egg roll. It was standard.

Huge portions and cheap price!

Authentic Chinese cusine at reasonable price! Tasy food! Clumsy stuff with poor English skill. But managable!!
